Okay so looking at lots of tips and tricks for good showreels online including ones the tutors posted here are the important bits that I want to include in my own:
- Less than 1 minute- keep them interested
- Put your best work first- some people only have time to watch a bit and will turn off if its not good enough.
- End with a good piece- lasting impression
- Name and contact details on title page- just 1 not sequence- put at end too
-When sending showreel to specific people make sure its tailored to them.
- If theres group work- indicate which bit you did either on a caption or on a word document breakdown
- Show good animation techniques
