Don't be a dick
If you annoy one person it'll get out and you will not get employes. Animation is a small industry and word spreads.
-Research blog- who should you talk to, where are they, are you happy to move?
-Develop relationships with practitioners
-Engage- develop portfolio, enter competitions
-Planning- Plan of action/ critical report. What are you going to do, when will you leave, how?
-Position- sell yourself, good cv, good media presence
-Look at placements, work experience etc
-1 Blog post a week
-New ways of working
-Competitions live briefs, work in teams at least 1 entry
-12 month action plan, focus on goals.
-What else do you need to learn?
-Childrens media conference- sheffield if interested in working in child entertainment
-Have everything you need to promote yourself e.g.. cv, business card, blog/website, showreel, portfolio.
PDF of blog, evidence that you have engaged and done something. 2000 word report, showreel and other appropriate marketing materials
